Barnfields History
Peter Barnfield did his training with the late G R Silverthorne in the 1950s in Abergavenny.
When Mr Silverthorne retired Peter started his own business in Cross street, stocking Roberts Radio, Hacker, Dynatron radio & television stocking Leak amplifiers Ferrograph & Vortexion reel to reel recorders of which we are still servicing today.
Michael Preedy joined Peter in 1971 and went on to include Decca radio & television Luxor Mitsubishi & Bang & Olufsen opening a shop in Cardiff & later Swansea.
Today they concentrate in Abergavenny in sales of radio television and audio equipment and both in house service department and travel to customers houses in large radius.
